"In whose heart?" A Blog series.

The Compass within.

week one

What’s actually leading my life right now?

A question we perhaps don’t ask enough.

Because whether we realize it or not, something is always directing us—our thoughts, our fears, our desires, or our faith.

Psalm 84 says something powerful:

“Blessed is the one… in whose heart are highways to Zion.”

That means there are people who carry a pathway to God within them.

Not externally. Internally.

The Compass God Put Inside You

Ecclesiastes 3:11 says that God has placed eternity in the human heart.

That explains a lot.

That quiet feeling of “there has to be more”…That dissatisfaction even when life looks good…That pull toward something deeper, higher, eternal…

That’s not confusion.That’s direction.

God put a compass inside you.

And here’s the truth: Nothing in this world can satisfy what was designed for eternity.

Why We Feel Lost Sometimes

Life can feel like driving in the wrong country, on the wrong side of the road, in heavy traffic.

You’re trying your best… but everything feels off.

That’s because when we ignore that inner compass, we start navigating life by pressure, fear, or culture instead of truth.

And eventually, we feel it.

Disoriented. Drained. Off course.

The Good News

A compass doesn’t remove the wilderness. It gives you direction within it.

Even if life feels messy right now, the direction hasn’t disappeared.

You can pause. Get your bearings. Realign.

God is not distant. He’s already placed what you need inside you. It’s simply a learning curve.

Coming Back to True North

Jesus said,“I am the way, the truth, and the life.”

He’s not just a direction. He is direction.

So, when life feels off, don’t panic. Just come back to centre. Remember this: "Just a season of winding and bending" within the learning curves of life. Come back to truth. Come back to Him.

Because the compass within you -

It still knows the way home.
