🌼 Tempted to pontificate and write into what I always see, but suffice to say —
“Life without filter is how GOD created us. Filter in its purest sense is to live without all the elements not needed nor wanted. To filter (sieve or strain) something is to separate the “pure and needful” from that which is not pure, damaging or not needed. Filter in the land of social media means to “add an effect that changes or enhances what is seen”. Can be harmful if trying to live in denial of reality, or can be helpful if trying to highlight something of magnificence.
I LOVE the reality that when a person enters into SALVATION IN CHRIST — all the facades and filters that are harmful to heart and soul are removed. JESUS cleanses and renews like no other. He is the God of new birth, new beginnings, new wide open spaces. It’s like the lights go on. Life comes into focus … begins to make sense. Suddenly the veil lifts. It changes the landscape entirely, and if one has a heart to “hunger, thirst and seek forward”, then Wisdom - godly Wisdom, Christ centered Wisdom, Wisdom from Above and not below - will write a beautiful story.
Yes, we have experienced a hellish, darkened, disappointing two years - but ain’t it grand to wake and walk and STILL SEE LIFE IN HER UNFILTERED BEAUTY.
